Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald are teaming up once again, but this one goes beyond the quest for championships. The former teammates have joined together with Oxfam America to raise awareness to the struggles in Africa, particularly Ethiopia, Kenya and Somali as seen in this PSA released on YouTube.
Boldin and Fitzgerald made a trip this Spring to Ethiopia to visit the drought-ravaged African country after the Ravens receivers saw reports of the economic and humanitarian crisis firsthand, according to ESPN the Magazine. The duo met with villagers and worked along side them hauling rocks ? which earns about 90 cents per day.
?I know what it?s like to do without,? Boldin told ESPN the Magazine, ?but nothing like this.?
